Information stored on your device

Poploft stores your current board, score, best score, completed-game count, level, XP, active playtime, personal records, and sound, haptic, tutorial and appearance preferences locally on your device. Poploft does not send this game progress to a developer-operated server. The game has no user account or login and does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or precise location.

Advertising and third parties

The iPhone and iPad version of Poploft includes Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform to support advertising and privacy choices. When advertising is enabled and permitted, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may process your IP address (which can indicate general location), device or app identifiers, advertising and interaction information, crash logs, and performance information. These support ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. Non-personalized advertising can still involve data processing.

The upcoming iPhone and iPad release asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before requesting ads. If you allow tracking and provide any other consent required in your region, Google and its advertising partners may use your advertising identifier and combine it with information from other companies' apps and websites for personalized advertising and advertising measurement. If you decline Apple's tracking permission, Poploft requests non-personalized ads with restricted data processing instead; Google's SDK does not send your Apple advertising identifier. Regional consent requirements still apply to non-personalized ads, including device storage used for frequency capping and aggregated reporting. Where permitted by your choices, Google may serve limited ads. If permission is restricted or undecided, required consent is unavailable, or ads cannot load, gameplay continues without an ad.

Google's publisher first-party ID feature remains disabled. Earlier iPhone and iPad builds request non-personalized ads without an Apple tracking prompt. The Apple TV version has no ads and does not include Google Mobile Ads or its consent SDK. Each device keeps its own local progress. If you choose Share in the phone or tablet profile, the native share sheet sends only the rank and gameplay record text you select; Poploft does not send it to a developer server.

Your choices

You can decline Apple's tracking request and still use every gameplay feature. Apple tracking settings are available from Poploft Settings and can be changed in the device's Settings app. Changed permissions are checked when Poploft becomes active again, and previously loaded ads are discarded when the permission changes. Where required, Google's separate consent form is presented before ad requests. A Privacy choices control is available in Settings when Google requires it, so you can revisit your choices. If ads cannot be requested or loaded, you can continue playing. You can play offline and can change appearance and sound in Settings, plus haptics on supported devices.

Support communications

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use that information to respond to your request and investigate problems. We retain support correspondence only as needed to resolve requests and maintain relevant records. You can request deletion of support correspondence by contacting us.

Retention and deletion

Local progress remains on your device until app data is removed, such as by uninstalling Poploft. Device backups may retain app data under your Apple settings. Google controls retention of information it processes; consult its policies and privacy controls. Contact us with requests concerning data we hold. We do not sell game-progress information or operate our own user-data brokerage.

Children

Poploft is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can address it.
