Thank you for using HartCore! This privacy policy describes how your personal information is handled in HartCore.
1. Data We Collect
HartCore helps you track your workouts, including:
- Exercise types (Sit-Ups, Push-Ups, Planks)
- Number of repetitions for Sit-Ups and Push-Ups
- Duration for Planks
- Start and end times of your workouts
- Estimated calories burned during your workouts
HartCore interacts with Apple’s HealthKit framework to read and write this workout data.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your workout data is used to:
- Display your workout sessions within the HartCore app (on your iPhone and Apple Watch).
- Provide you with a history of your workouts and a weekly activity summary.
- Save your completed workouts to Apple HealthKit, contributing to your Activity Rings and allowing you to view your data in the Apple Health and Fitness apps.
3. Data Storage and Security
- Workout data saved via HealthKit is stored securely on your device by Apple and, if you have iCloud enabled, may be backed up to iCloud according to Apple’s policies.
- Workout data displayed within the HartCore app (your history) is stored locally on your device(s) using UserDefaults.
4. Data Sharing
HartCore does not share your personal workout data or HealthKit data with any third parties. Your data is used solely for the functionality of the app on your devices.
5. Your Control and Rights
- You can manage HartCore’s permission to access HealthKit data at any time through the Apple Health app settings on your iPhone.
- You can delete individual workout entries from the history within the HartCore app. Deleting an entry from HartCore will also attempt to delete the corresponding workout from HealthKit.
6. Children’s Privacy
HartCore is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy within the app or on our App Store page.
